Rooftop King Suite at Ocean Park Beach Club

Room was cool and comfortable but needed hot water. Positive: Nice room. Comfortable bed. Pretty views. Negative: No hot water. No shower water pressure. They made us wait outside in the hot sun for an hour when they said the room was clean. Wanted an early check in fee.

With the poor customer service and conditions, we would NOT recommend staying here. Negative: First, customer service was lacking. I didn’t receive any information regarding where to go and how to access the init until 330pm day of arrival. I called for 2 hours after arrival at the airport and no one answered the phone. We wanted to find out if we could use the amenities prior to check vs sitting at the airport for 2 hours. Once we finally got the information and arrived the key to the door was not the correct key so we had to wait for maintenance to come let us in. Don’t let the name fool you. It is no beach resort. You can’t even see water, beach nothing but ugly building views. The “romantic bathtub” is located outside with ants everywhere and the tub had black soot looking stuff in it. There is a 1 inch gap under the door so easy for bugs to get in. No elevator and had to walk 3 floors with 50 lb suitcases. Almost didn’t get luggage up there. A/C was a mini split unit. Water did not get hot for showers. Overall, beds were comfortable and setup was nice but could use a good cleaning on outside furniture.

Location was good But other amenities didn’t meet expectations Positive: Location Negative: We were there Thursday-Sunday. At 1st everything seemed good. Then woke up Friday to no pool, Saturday to no pool. The water inside wasn’t filling up. And we were out of hot water since Thursday. Only cold water couldn’t contact host to fix issues. And it was my Birthday weekend. Definitely messed it up.
